As someone who didn’t vote in 2016 because I despised Clinton but assumed she would win and lived in a state where my vote wouldn’t make a difference anyway my advice is – if your argument is you want to send a message to your broken political system that their fucked up lack of options means they deserve to let a fascist take over – well, that doesn’t hurt politicians, that hurts your citizens, and you should send a more clear message to politicians.
