The far right has attacked ‘Drag Queen Story Hour’ an event at some public libraries where people in drag read to kids. Now DeSantis is trying to control Florida businesses which feature drag. The veil is that he is protecting children and that drag is ‘immoral’. What he wants is to control libraries, police businesses, and set the stage for a society where only what he deems permissible is legal. It is text book fascism.
If you don’t like drag shows, don’t go to one.
If you don’t like living under fascism, defend yourself, stand your ground, and fight like an American to preserve the constitution from this far right extremism.
A person crossdressing for enjoyment and art will never approach the grotesque display of Ron DeSantis taking away ALL access to digital library materials for schools in Florida because he couldn’t stomach the idea of young kids learning on their own, in case they grow up to NOT be his obedient subservient slaves.
