As an observer who has no interest in Trump other than his potential threat to me and my community as a leader who has promoted violence against America, I wonder if the GOP base understands the trap of wanting federal agencies to be completely partisan aligned and to consider it their job to protect politicians who commit crimes. Does this not lead to an authoritarian state?
