Jordan Peterson Interprets Dostoevsky’s ‘Notes From Underground’ And His Take Away Is ‘UtopianISM’ is Bad When I Would Argue Dostoevsky’s More Subtle And Truly Genius Message Is ‘Utopia Literally Means No Place For a Reason’


This is in my opinion an incredible misreading. Dostoevsky is not criticizing ‘Utopianism’ but rather Rationality itself. In fact a gutteral human cry rebutting those who would seek to have all live and die under the rubric “facts don’t care about your feelings.”
